Author Ginger Sanders Meets with Media and Industry Leaders at AWSA Conference
Award-winning author, speaker and chaplain Ginger Sanders recently had the opportunity to connect with a number of influential women in the publishing and speaking profession when she attended the 2018 Advanced Writers and Speakers Association Fall Conference which was held in Nashville, Tennessee from September 7-9, 2018.
During the event, Sanders participated in several book signing events and met with industry leaders, including Dr. Erwin Lutzer (Pastor Emertus of The Moody Church and host of the Running to Win daily broadcast) and film producer and screenwriter, David Evans (The Grace Card, Indivisible). She also interviewed with media personalities, including Cynthia Simmons of the Right to the Heart radio show, and Rosalinda Rivera from Telling it Like It Is.
"The AWSA conference was a wonderful experience!" says Sanders. "It was such a joy to interact with so many dedicated women of God who excel at their profession."
Sanders continues to gather accolades for her beautifully illustrated children's book, Fireflies:
Sharing God's Light in the Time of Loss. Since its initial release in March 2016, the book has earned the Book of the Year Award (Children 4-8 Category) from the Christian Small Publishers Association (CSPA) as well as the 2017 Author's Excellence Award (A.E.A.) in the Children's Book category, which honors outstanding Christian books from independent and small-press authors.

"Congratulations to Ginger Sanders author of Fireflies," Interviews & Reviews declared in its winners announcement. "This book for children deals with a sensitive subject--dealing with the death of a loved one. With the use of colorful illustrations and 'fireflies,' children will find comfort and hope."
"I am so blessed that Fireflies continues to reach new audiences with hope," says Sanders. "Fireflies is based on a true story about God revealing death in a way that is easy enough for a child to understand. I am so grateful to the family that allowed me to share so others may find peace in a time of loss."
Fireflies is published by Xulon Press and beautifully illustrated by Tracy Applewhite Broome. To learn more about Sanders and Fireflies, visit gingersanders.com.
