Terrell Hunt Shares His Versatile Vocal Stylings On "YOU DID IT" EP
With over 20 years in the music industry, Terrell Hunt has sustained and continually refined his skills as a singer, songwriter and Worship leader. The Stellar Award nominee has worked with some of the greatest and top names in the music industry and has lent his "gospel-meets-soul" vocal stylings to musical works all over the globe. His support role to other artists over the years has empowered him to become a versatile and established artist for himself, and a highly sought after ministry consultant and clinician.
Terrell's roots in gospel, jazz and classical music has created a platform for him to deliver a unique collaboration of vocal compositions in the ever changing music industry. "The music industry continually evolves and has become much more accepting of the new and creative ways to present the gospel," Terrell shares. "This allows us as artists to be more forward thinking in our approach and ingenuity in creating music."
Since his 2009 Stellar Gospel Music Award nomination for New Artist of The Year, Terrell has continued to step outside the box to take creative liberties without compromising biblical messages and the Word of God. "We serve a creative God who is not afraid of creativity in the conveyance of His message," he explains. "I'm exploring more and expanding the borders much more than I ever have in the writing and the presentation of my music."
Stretching his creative liberties, Terrell has released new music in 2018 that diversifies his listening audiences and captures an eclectic mix of fans who love good music. MOMENTS was released this spring and is an album boasting acapella, jazz, soul and country versions of some of the best loved gospel hymns and worship songs. A smooth jazz arrangement of "Sweet, Sweet Spirit" opens the album, followed by the beautifully Americana styled version of the beloved hymn "Tis So Sweet" featuring country duo The Dryes.
Terrell's most recent release is his EP YOU DID IT. In his genius creativity, and with the help of his new label home Hutton Records and production team VonSus, Terrell offers various versions of the single "You Did It"."You Did It" main version moves with an urban groove while "You Did It (Vonsus Worktape)" allows the listener to hear some of the raw and remixed track during the recording process."You Did It (Worship Moment)" is a sweet and emotional worship ballad that features a powerhouse trio of female vocalists: Avery Sunshine, Nickie Conley, Jasmyne Hinson. "You Did It (Worship Moment" is impacting Gospel radio stations now.

"I absolutely loved working with Avery, Nickie and Jasmyne!" Terrell shares. "Avery is one of the sweetest and most down to earth people you could ever meet. Nickie and I met and worked together on a previous project and I knew immediately that I wanted to work with her again on something of my own. This was my first time meeting and working with Jasmyne. She is a joy to work with."
Terrell wants his YOU DID IT EP to be a constant reminder of what God has done in each individual's life in the past, and to give them hope of God's future work. YOU DID IT is released by Nashville based Hutton Records and is available on all digital music outlets. YOU DID IT can become a part of everyone's life soundtrack.
