Arrow Season 3 Release Date 2014, New Cast Added and Spoilers
The popular show "Arrow" on the CW will be coming back for Season 3 this Fall and potentially with four new characters added.
The show, based on DC Comics' characters is reportedly searching new recurring characters to kick of the third season: Toshi and Akiko will feature into Oliver Queen's Hong Kong-based flashbacks as his handlers and trainers.
The first character could be 'Daniel', the alter-ego of 'Golden Age' comic hero Blue Beetle. Blue Beetle may be competing with Oliver Queen for Felicity. Season Two's finale teased a Oliver and Felicity romance briefly, but fans will have to wait and see. In the original comic book universe, Blue Beetle's actual name is Dan Garrett. So, the Blue Beetle rumor could be true. Oliver, who is also DC superhero 'Green Arrow', will be facing a new bad guy named 'Seth', who is a criminal mastermind and gifted chemist. 'Seth' typically favors using drugs to overpower enemies and could be a big threat to Oliver's beloved Starling City.
Green Arrow's greatest nemesis, Malcolm Merlyn, is rumored to be the archvillain in Season Three. Also known as the Dark Archer, Merlyn destroys part of Starling City with an earthquake machine in the first season. At the end of an epic battle with Oliver, Malcolm fakes his death and goes into hiding.The Dark Archer made many brief appearances in Season Two, but was not the main antagonist.

Season 3 of "Arrow" will return John Barrowman as a regular character, after finding out Thea Queen was in fact his biologicial daughter in Season 2. The producers of the show will be adding more flashback sequences to explains how Oliver became the Green Arrow in Season 3. Stephen Amell said that the Season 3 flashbacks will take place in Hong Kong. In the Season 2 finale flashback scene, Oliver wakes up in a Hong Kong and finds himself under the 'care' of the A.R.G.U.S. spy agency. Oliver then begins to receive training under Toshi, a highly-trained government operative and devoted family man. Toshi's wife Akiko is implied as being Oliver's caretaker.
"Arrow" Season 3 on CW network is scheduled to premiere in October 2014.
