Michael L McCants and ANSI Worshippers Release Debut Album "Vows"

Leading into Holy Week, celebrated indie music label and hitmakers Enon Music Group introduces the equally powerful and impactful music ministry of Michael L McCants and the ANSI Worshippers in their national CD debut EP Vows.

"I've searched for words to convey how we feel and I'm best to come up with overjoyed," says Pastor McCants.  "We are incredibly grateful to God for his constant display of love defined in the giving of Jesus to save us from our sins and redeem us so that we can have relationship.  God gave us a song to sing, a story to tell, a message to deliver, a destiny to fulfill and people to encourage.  We want to be sure we are doing our part.  Thanks to Miche and Enon Music Group, we get a chance to tell the world that Jesus Saves."

McCants' foundation was established as he learned to love God at an early age while receiving instruction from his grandfather at the St John Church of the Nazarene. It was evident that there was a call on his life to teach and preach God's word so McCants was prepared for a life in service to God and his people.  He attended school in Florence nurturing his skills and abilities while fostering a greater appreciation for the word of God through studies at the Judah Bible College and Center of Hope Bible College.  Sensing the call of God to go into the world with the Gospel, he organized A New Start International (ANSI) Evangelistic Center.  Music was birthed during times of intercession as God began to orchestrate and order his steps.

McCants is quick to offer up details about his musical abilities. "I have an intense passion for all music.  But let's get one thing clear, I am by no means a singer.  I have a great ear for harmonic patterns and chord progressions and all the rest is God.  My music has been greatly influenced by the music of others including Whitney Houston, Anita Baker, Yolanda Adams, Cece Winans, Karen Clark Sheard, JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise, John P. Kee, Eddie James, Chaka Khan, etc." 

As to the project, McCants offers these words, "Vows centers itself around the marriage of Christ to his bride, the Church.  In this offering, Jesus speaks to the church and says, Still I'll wait for you, I'm mighty, I'm holy, I'm faithful, I'll be your healer, savior, your King, I will fill your temple.  Then the church as the bride vows back to him, I'll give my all to you, I'll sacrifice for you, You are my King.  The project is hinged upon vows or commitments from Christ to the Bride and from the bride to Christ."
