Apollo LTD Release New Single, "Misfits"
Indie pop duo Apollo LTD has released a new single, "Misfits," available now on all outlets. "Misfits" features Jordan Phillips' and Adam Stark's retro-smooth production, with electronic synths and falsetto vocals coming together for an addictive, mesmerizing hook.
It also holds a universally relatable message:
"It's a song about feeling like you don't fit in, but realizing that actually might be ok," Stark says. "It's more about realizing where you belong in the world, rather than if you belong. Embracing our differences is what makes this life beautiful."
Their dynamic sound and talent have garnered acclaim from outlets such as The Atlantic and Consequence of Sound: "Phillips and Stark's expert grasp of the pop genre shines." They have toured alongside acts such as Panic at the Disco, DNCE, and The All-American Rejects and received sync placements on Comedy Central, ESPN, FOX Sports, NBC, ABC and more. They made waves in 2018 with their EP Out of Body, which features the infectious hit "One In A Million." They also saw energetic impact at radio and streaming services with their single "Gold" and are seeing the same for recent release "On The Way Up 2.0."
Phillips and Stark are recording more new music to be released in the upcoming months. They go on tour with the New Respects later this spring, followed by Daughtry and Augustana in the summer, then Amanda Lindsay Cook this fall.
