Ginny Owens Drops New Christmas EP Today
Singer and songwriter Ginny Owens releases her new Christmas EP today! A Midnight Clear offers a reflective, peaceful moment for the often frantic Christmas season.
Owens writes: "I wanted to make sure you knew that I have a brand new Christmas EP out today! It's called A Midnight Clear, and it's a reflective, peaceful set of songs for this very busy season."
Recorded live on Music Row with Owens on piano and vocals, Matt Buttler on cello (Maren Morris), Kyle Buchanan on guitar (Jordan Feliz, Cindy Morgan), and Andrew Picha on percussion (Jordan Feliz, Micha Tyler), this five-song EP includes new arrangements of two familiar carols, as well as three original songs co written by Owens. Each song is an invitation to contemplate Christmas, culminating in the EP's final track, "Strangers No More," an all-out meditation on the deep significance of this season.
Tracklist:
1. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
2. The Greatest Gift
3. It Came Upon a Midnight Clear
4. Jesus We Adore You
5. Stranger No More
