Marge Youngblood Releases her Debut Christmas Single 'Christmas Journey'
Singer/Songwriter/Musician Marge Youngblood has released her debut Christmas single 'Christmas Journey', a festive blend of the traditional and the contemporary to portray the real life hardships of a journey taken 2000 years ago, as well as by many still today.
Marge provides Spirit-driven and encouraging music to touch hearts, change lives, and save souls. Working in a variety of atmospheres and settings, she seeks to bring the grace and light of God wherever she is called to go. Whether it's at a small church or on a big stage, it's all worthwhile and all for the glory of God in her eyes. Collaboration, an open mind, and a whole lot of focus and determination are key to not only leading music, but to sharing something deeper with others from the depths of her soul.
"I have been playing piano (and organ) for over 25 years, having my humble start in a small-town church in the midwest", explains Marge. "I believe that every part of what I do is truly a gift from God. Though it has undoubtedly taken focus, practice, and commitment over the years, most people are surprised to find out that I have only had 8 formal piano lessons when I was in 6th grade.
As in many life examples, there will always be someone else out there who can play, sing, or write songs better, but my mission is doing God's Will and He doesn't look for the ones who can give him the most credentials, just the ones who can give Him the most heart."
