Hillsong Church Postpones 2020 Color Conference to Next Year

Hillsong Church has decided to postpone this year's women conference in Los Angeles and New York to next year. In the event of coronavirus COVID-19, Hillsong Church is postponing their Color Conference.

Colour Conference is a global women's gathering, hosted in Sydney, London, Cape Town, New York, Los Angeles, Kiev and Moscow by Bobbie Houston and the Hillsong Church team. Attended by thousands of women annually, the mandate for the past 24 years has been to place value upon everyday women of all ages, background and culture.

As a movement, the Colour Sisterhood has inspired women around the world to rise up, champion womanhood in all its magnificence and partner together in advocating for justice and social change.

With regards to the postponing of Color, this is what global senior pastor Bobbie Houston writes:

Hi girls, I am sure that you have been following global developments across recent weeks with what is the coronavirus COVID-19. What is transpiring is unprecedented as individual governments apply due diligence to their individual nations.

So on that note, we will be postponing our 2020 Colour experience in LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK until next year (2021).

Your personal registration will automatically transfer to next year, Colour 2021. Please check your email inbox regarding this.

The remarkable aspect of all this, is that last year I felt strongly compelled to add a new dynamic to what is our 24th year of Colour - so during Colour One in Sydney, we pioneered our first "Colour Conference Online". We captured not only our fabulous speakers, but every beautiful aspect of conference... the atmosphere, the openers, the creative moments, the fun and games, and most importantly the worship and sense of a global Sisterhood that is so unique to Colour. Everyone felt there was a tangible freshness, with thousands of online delegates commenting that they felt the presence and Spirit of God.

So, if you have already registered to be "in the room" this year, we want to gift this "online experience" so that, together, we can remain on the page, rise in faith, and continue to be watered. If you haven't registered yet, we'd love for you to join!

PRECIOUS FRIEND, who could have imagined the scenario we are in. But, our amazing God in Heaven is well aware. In many ways I feel that He prepared a way for us. So (hallelujah), we continue to pray for you... we continue to lean into the goodness of God... as the Church of Jesus Christ on the earth, we shall continue to resist fear, embrace wisdom and be an oasis of hope for others. The future belongs to Him. He knows the thoughts and the plans He has for us, thoughts for good and not evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29).

So, let's remain in faith, let's be compliant with those in authority, let's believe that this pandemic shall pass, and that there will be minimal casualties as we all (again) apply wisdom. May the grace and love of God continue to overshadow, cover, and keep you safe and sound.
