Ascent Project's Matthew McGinley Releases New Song "Take Me Home"

Worship Leader, Songwriter, and pioneer of Ascent Project Matthew McGinley releases a new song, "Take Me Home".

"Whether it's the busyness and stress of life or even ministry itself, there is a temptation to get away from the simplicity of just being with Jesus," Matthew explains about his new song. "This song flows out of a personal desire to get back to the simple place of being with the Father where we find everything we need. We overcomplicate things. He just wants our hearts. He just wants to be with us. And that invitation is for every single person."

We call ourselves a movement because we long for people not just to listen to our music but to be changed by it and to live out God's heart for people. When we worship, God plants His heart in our chest, and our response is to love those He loves. Look after those He loves. Serve those He loves.
