‘Esther Calling,’ the Women’s Leadership Initiative of Promise Keepers, Launches ‘Women-Re-Charge’ Weekly Encouragement Webinar
Esther Calling, the women's leadership initiative of Promise Keepers, is launching a weekly webinar Thursday nights from 6:00-6:45 p.m. Central time to provide 45 minutes of encouragement and connection.
Women have always been among Promise Keepers' biggest supporters. Now, Esther Calling, a new women's leadership initiative, is launching to support the mission of Promise Keepers and the men who embrace it.
The overall vision of Esther Calling is to gather women leaders whose hearts' desire is to see men restored, healed, and transformed by the love of Jesus through the efforts of Promise Keepers and to unite as a positive voice of encouragement to lift and empower the men of this nation who embrace the Promise Keepers' mission.
Michelle Borquez-Robinson, the executive director of Esther Calling, said of "Women Re-Charge webinar: "Life looks a little different right now and we need connection more than ever! We're counting on thousands of women from across the country and around the world to join us for weekly encouragement and community. We'll focus on prayer, an inspirational message and sharing. Our desire is that women will take this time to recharge, unplug from the house, children and work, and meet some new friends!"
Joining Michelle on the call will be Miriam Remington, Promise Keepers' director of Hannah's Initiative, Nicole Stark, Promise Keepers' director of marketing and operations, and special guest Paige Henderson, the co-founder and women's director of The Quest Life.
Registration is free and easy-just reserve your spot at https://event.webinarjam.com/register/7/624w6ix
ABOUT PROMISE KEEPERS
Founded in 1990 by Coach Bill McCartney, Promise Keepers is one of the most significant movements of God in the history of the Church. In 1997 alone, Promise Keepers packed 22 NFL stadiums and gathered 1 million men for the Million Man March at Lincoln Memorial in the District of Columbia.
This July 31 - Aug. 1, 80,000 men are expected to convene at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys, the first of many anticipated annual flagship events.
The organization's mission is to empower men to live out their God-given identity and purpose today and destiny tomorrow by serving their homes, workplaces and communities with integrity and influence. Promise Keepers' current board of directors includes two Texans: former Dallas Cowboy, Chad Hennings, and senior pastor at Watermark Church, Todd Wagner. Both men will be speaking at the 2020 Event this summer.
