Seeds Family Worship Launches Online Worship Services for Children
Since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, churches and families have been looking for ways to have meaningful family time at home around God's Word. In light of this, Seeds Family Worship launched a weekly online children's service on its Facebook page, and the services have been watched more than 22,000 times in the last two weeks.
Parents and pastors have been thrilled with the content of these online services for kids. As one Mom expressed, "We just watched the first one and... the Scripture was great for what the world is currently walking through. Loved the songs being all Scripture." Another Mom of ten (yes, TEN!) little ones shared, "These online services have been really fun... [I'm] thankful that my kids are being filled with God's truth."
The Lead Executive Pastor of Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Idaho, Darin Blood, said, "As a pastor I'm thrilled to have this content out there for families that is so biblically sound and engaging for the whole family. I've shared it with our entire staff and encouraged them them to join in and invite their friends and family."
The children's worship services are streamed every Sunday night at 6PM CST on the Seeds Facebook page. Each service begins with Seeds Family Worship videos: songs set to word-for-word Scripture with graphics and hand motions. Kids love following along as Kylie, or "Worship Girl," leads the hand motions. After the opening set of songs, a member of the Seeds Family Worship Team brings a short message from God's Word and the service with one final song
Jason Houser, Founder and President of Seeds Family Worship says he was inspired to start these services because of his own experience as a Children's Worship Pastor at his church. "For the last five years we've watched kids at our church learn God's word through song and felt it was the perfect time to share these songs and teachings with other families.
Seeds not only provides a once a week opportunity to connect as a family, but has self-paced content designed to help families connect around their dinner table. This year Seeds launched the "Twenty Verses in 2020" campaign, helping families everywhere have easy family devotions. The goal is to help families memorize twenty verses together through short family devotions and engaging Scripture memory songs. All devotions, songs and videos for the Twenty-in-2020 campaign are free for families to have time together around God's Word. Learn more at here.
