Hillsong Worship's "A Beautiful Exchange" is 10 Years Old!

Hillsong Worship's (then known as Hillsong LIVE) iconic A Beautiful Exchange is ten years old this month. A Beautiful Exchange marked the first release of brand new songs in the allianc with EMI Christian Music Group. The album hit No. 1 on several retail sales charts, including the overall Christian, Praise & Worship and Christian/Gospel Mainstream charts, as well as lands at No. 40 on the Billboard Top 200 while posting No. 8 on iTunes Top Album chart (No. 1 iTunes Christian chart). 2010 also saw their first tour led by Reuben Morgan.

A Beautiful Exchange was recorded live Nov. 8 2009 along with thousands of worshippers gathered together in the Sydney (Australia) Entertainment Centre and led by worship leaders Reuben Morgan, Joel Houston, Ben Fielding, Darlene Zschech and Jad Gillies, among others. The recording explores themes of sacrifice and redemption in the title track, confession in "Forever Reign," extraordinary love in "Our God Is Love," and features songs of hope, reconciliation and praise.
