The Fosters Season 2: Fans get a totally unexpected starting into the Second Season
The Fosters. Who thought it would get a second season? Am sure some of you did not, however, to those who love this family drama series well you can all breathe easy as it did get a second season from ABC Family network.
This American family drama series is a story about lives of the so-called Foster family that consist of an interracial lesbian couple raising a blended family of biological, adopted and foster kids. Created by Peter Paige and Bradley Bredeweg who also serves as the executive producer alongside Jennifer Lopez, this series premiered on June 3rd 2013 and ended on March 24th 2014.
Its second season premiered on June 16th 2014.
Teri Polo and Sherri Saum portray the lesbian couple while the kids are portrayed by David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, Jake T. Austin, Cierra Ramirez, and Hayden Byerly).
Now, the show has been able to bag awards since it started airing with wins like the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Drama Series, winning the Teen Choice Award for Choice Breakout Television Show and also earning the GLAAD Vanguard Award for executive producer Jennifer Lopez. With such performance it makes sense as to why ABC would renew a second season for the award winning series.
The first season ends with so many unresolved issues leaving us with questions as to why it would end that way. The second season then starts with what you do not expect. Now, the fact that the last episode in season 1 leaves you with question you would expect that the second season would start off with where things ended. However, this is not the case, the first episode of season 2 shows time has moved on and the Adam's Foster family have also moved on just like the rest of the world. They however help you catchup with what is going on by giving you a recap of all the things you may need to remember and a few flash backs here and there helping you fill in the missing gaps. With this you will not feel lost following up the story which was very clever of them.
Well there is so much drama in this second season we wait to see how thing will unfold and if some of the secrets will come to light at the end of the season.
