Hillsong Worship, initially known as Hillsong Live, first came onto the International scene when Integrity Music released "Shout to the Lord" as part of their Hosana worship series. Featuring a female worship leader coming from Australia for the first time, Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong team show that anyone and anything can be mightly used by God. Over the years, they have serviced the church with countless songs. These include "Shout to the Lord," "Blessed," "Mighty to Save," "Hosanna," "Cry of the Broken" and "Cornerstone."
Their latest single from "No Other Name" is "This I Believe (The Creed)." The song, written by Matt Crocker and Ben Fielding,is based on the Apostles' Creed, "This I Believe" was created after an Australian Anglican minister sent a request to Hillsong Church via Twitter to use the Apostles' Creed, one of the oldest and most widely used statements across the church at large.
"This I Believe" has already been hailed as one of the most unifying pieces of music to be produced for decades. In an age where there is so much division, it's powerful to declare something we all believe is true, emphasizing our core beliefs," co-writer and Hillsong worship leader Fielding states to the press, "I love anything that has the power to unify the church. This creed has done that for close to 1700 years."
