Magellan And Lara Landon Teamed Up For Electronic Worship Experience ‘New Frontiers’
Magellan and Lara Landon created a new electronic worship experience album titled New Frontiers which will release March 12, 2013.
Magellan and Landon created the album with the vision to reach today’s young generation with a new sound that has the power to capture their hearts and minds in today’s world of media and entertainment.
Magellan and Landon draw the inspiration for the lyrics and themes for the songs directly from the Bible and hymns which they clothed into energized and unique spin through electronica dance music. Both artists are currently taking New Frontiers to festivals.
Magellan, also known as Paul Buono, a writer, musician and producer shares, “I first got a chance to work with Lara during the making on Worship Revolutions for Club Dream Lab.. She sang the vocal for my remix of popular song "BREATHE". She is such a dynamic singer and her voice is so well suited for dance music..That particular track got such a great response and it was also personal favorite.. When I began to think about writing and producing another project I knew I would want to work with Lara again.. After doing a couple tracks with her for the "New Frontiers" project, I quickly decided to ask her to not only sing on the record, but also help me co-write the rest of the songs. We discovered a we had a great chemistry and had a blast making it. It was fun to once again "think outside the box" and push ourselves to "New Frontiers"......Hope you all enjoy what we created!!!!"
California native, Lara Landon, a singer and songwriter who moved to Nashville and released her sophomore project Overcome in May 2012, shares regarding the project, “My friend and producer Magellan and I teamed up to take hymns and scripture and put it to electronic/dance music. We threw out all the pre-conceptions of what "worship music" usually sounds like and made a creative passion project that I hope you enjoy.”
