Sandra McCracken Creates an Anthem of Unity with Citizens with "I Am One"
Integrity Music is proud to announce that Sandra McCracken releases new anthem of peace and unity 'I Am One' featuring Citizens. Written with Zach Bolen and Stu G, this song was born out of a conversation of what it means to have union with Christ and membership with one another.
Jesus prayed for us in John 17 "Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one." While our circumstances may be shaken up through the pandemic and pronounced political and social divisions, this song is a call to unity, with God and one another. The humble reality that we are more alike than we are different can be the beginning of redemptive conversations.
McCracken writes: "I hope this song resonates as a hopeful anthem of peace and unity. The humble reality that we are more alike than we are different can be the beginning of redemptive conversations. My friend Zach Bolen from Citizens co-wrote this song with me and was kind enough to join me on it as well."
