John Legend New Music Video "You and I" Features Wife Chrissy Teigen, Laverne Cox & More, Watch Here (VIDEO)
John Legend has released the new music video for his new single "You and I" to follow up on his massive No.1 hit "All of Me." The new emotional song is beautiful and touching and cameos his wife Chrissy Teigen.
Along with Sports Illustrated cover model Teigen, the video shows many women including a young girl with Down syndrome to an older breast cancer survivor. The video hopes to give a diverse look at all different kinds of beauty in women.
Legend shared with his fans about the song meaning at a concert in Los Angeles in May. "When I wrote this song I was thinking about when Chrissy and I go on date night," he told the audience. "Sometimes there's all this pressure to look so good. This song is just letting her know that even before all of the makeup and all those fancy clothes, she's already perfect in my eyes."
The "You and I" music video was directed by Mishka Kornai, with producers James Khabushani, Alan Michnoff, Eric Cook and Zac Geoffray.

John Legend has won nine Grammy Awards and performed on several hit songs including Magnetic Man's "Getting Nowhere," Kanye West's "All of the Lights", on Slum Village's "Selfish" and Dilated Peoples' "This Way". Other artists included Jay-Z's "Encore", and he sang backing vocals on Alicia Keys' 2003 song "You Don't Know My Name", the Kanye West remix of Britney Spears' "Me Against the Music", and Fort Minor's "High Road". Legend also played piano on Lauryn Hill's "Everything Is Everything".
