Vince Gill And Amy Grant’s Christmas At The Ryman To Return In 2021
After cancelling their much beloved Christmas concerts at the Ryman due to the pandemic, Vince Gill and Amy Grant have announced that they will resume their Christmas at the Ryman residency for the Christmas season of 2021. The dates will run from December 13 to 22 and tickets can be purchased now at ryman.com.
"None of us could have ever predicted a year like this one and the holidays are going to look a lot different because of it," says Grant. "While Vince and I are disappointed we can't be with you all this year, we are thrilled to be able to return to Ryman Auditorium for the holidays in 2021. It is such a special time of year for us and our family, and these shows have become a holiday tradition for us!"
In a recent interview with The Tennessean, Grant also said of the performing experience: "I'm telling you, virtual's not the same thing. Playing live, you're channeling risk and beauty, and it goes to an audience and comes back to you. That's what's transforming about it - it's what's happening in the room. Everyone's elevated."
Meanwhile, Grant has two new Christmas songs. Her brand new duet with Marc Martel, "The Christmas Waltz," is currently on available for download and streaming, and she's also the featured voice on Dion's new holiday track "Hello Christmas." Gill, meanwhile, is one of the featured performers in the Willie Nelson American Outlaw concert, which will be released in 2CD and CD/DVD sets on December 11.
The Christmas at the Ryman dates for 2021 are:
Monday, December 13 - 7:30pm
