Brett Perkins Releases New Album "Hope Multiplied" After Two Singles Have Gone Viral
Brett Perkins is a worship leader and songwriter based out of Nashville, Tennessee. On November 20, Brett released his album Hope Multiplied featuring nine songs. After the first few days of release, I Put My Trust and Attention accumulated a combined total of almost 11.5k streams!
Over the years, Brett has traveled the country leading a variety of congregations to the throne of Jesus through music. Brett currently serves as a Worship Pastor at The Journey Church (Lebanon, TN).
The song, I Put My Trust came from Jason Cheek, Scott Hundley and Brett attempting to capture the clear and bold statement declared in the hymn Solid Rock:
"My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus' name."

Brett said, "I always thought it was so powerful to sing those opening lines, it felt like an anthemic chorus to me. To set up the declarations of "I put my trust" and "My hope is built" in the chorus, we needed to set them up with trust - worship is a response to truth. So, we decided to tell the whole gospel with the verses. The bridge addresses how incredible and mysterious it is that God would save us in spite of the sinners we are." His hope is that this song will lead people to consider the real truths of scripture and the great mystery of salvation!
