ICF Worship Releases New Single "Our Father"
ICF Worship returns with their new Integrity Music released single. The new ICF Worship song 'Our Father' embodies the Lord's Prayer in a musical expression. It is a cry for God's presence and wonders in our lives which flowed out of a songwriting session that quickly became a time of worship.
"We were writing this song up in the mountains on a team retreat when suddenly Jesus revealed Himself as we were praising him. The song became our reality. God opened the heavens," says Luca Aprile, one of the band's worship leaders.
'Our Father' is about what Jesus taught us to pray and an invitation to practise it - it's a picture of a loving Father who desires for us to persevere in prayer and reach out to him. Member of ICF Worship Ariena shares, "I love the part when we sing 'WE BELIEVE IN THE LOVE OF OUR FATHER'; it's the only thing that remains [after all] and that really satisfies our soul."
ABOUT ICF WORSHIP
ICF Worship has its roots in the ICF Zurich church, founded in 1996 in Switzerland's largest city. Having started with a passion to reach out to people across the country in a contemporary and relevant way, ICF Zurich has flourished into a non-denominational church counting over 3,300 weekend attendees spread across five different locations within the city and its surroundings. ICF is also one of the biggest church movements in the German speaking sphere with over 60 churches in 12 nations. For over 10 years, ICF Worship's music has been growing alongside the church movement, seeing multiple album releases capturing its heart and developing a deeper sense of identity in their songwriting and sound in the process.
