Abby Malloy Engages Us in Intimate Worship with New EP
Christian singer/songwriter Abby Malloy is back with a stripped-down acoustic EP entitled Light in the Darkness (decade music sessions). The four song collection features Malloy leading us in worship, in a way that is immediate, intimate, warm, organic and geniune. The original versions of these songs came from Malloy's EP Light in the Darkness, which was released earlier this year.
Malloy is best known as part of Maverick City choir, where she has recorded many songs with the worship collective. She has also recorded with multiple "big name" artists in the Christian music industry (Maverick City, Crowder,Brandon Lake, and live recordings with We The Kingdom, Mandisa, Leeland Worship, Dante Bowe, Sinach, and more).
"While the studio versions of these songs are fun," Malloy reveals."The versions that are in this EP are the versions you've heard in live streams, at live shows, and the versions I sing to Jesus by myself in my room. I'm so honored to let you into these spaces with me and Jesus. If you haven't already, presave this EP below and be the first to be notified when it drops!"
This new EP mainly focuses around God's love for us and how He leads us out of the darkest of places, and Malloy hopes this new album will help others recognize that God is still with them when they feel the loneliest, the darkest, and the most hopeless.
Tracklist:
1 Light in the Darkness (acoustic) (acoustic)
2 The River (acoustic) (acoustic)
3 Wildflowers (acoustic) (acoustic)
4 I See the Light (acoustic) (acoustic)
