Jurassic World Movie Spoilers: Clues from “Leaked” Movie Prop Gives Us a Sneak Peek of What to Expect From the Latest Installment
A "Welcome to Jurassic World" brochure with an Isla Nublar map which has been uploaded to Reddit and is now making the Internet rounds, if proven an authentic prop for the highly anticipated movie, could give clues on what to expect from the franchise's latest installment.
The dinosaur-themed amusement park as imagined in the "leaked" document, would have a Gentle Giants Petting Zoo for the herbivores, The Aviary for the pteranodons which can be watched from a safe distance, a Jungle Trek, the T-Rex Kingdom, the Bamboo Forest, an Underwater Observatory, the Creation Lab where scientists can be seen working, and even a Golf Course. There will also be rides like the Cretaceous Cruise, the Gyrosphere with an instructional video hosted by Jimmy Fallon, and the Scrambler, a spinning ride for the family.
As far as the movie's plot itself is concerned, we already know that Jurassic World will take off twenty-two years after the Jurassic Park III incidents. Now under new ownership and new management, the devastated theme park and other InGen facilities will have been totally re-built and restored. In fact, according to an exclusive by JoBlo, "Jurassic Park 4, set in present day Isla Nublar, is now an actual theme park, as originally intended by John Hammond in the first film. It garners 10 million visitors per year and is completely safe - until it's not.....So, to sum it all up, Jurassic Park 4 will take place back on Isla Nublar with a fully operational dinosaur theme park that's both prosperous and safe, until a new dinosaur figures out a way to wreak havoc, causing the use of the now tamed Velociraptors (and T-Rex?) as a means to fighting the threat."
How did the new dinosaur threat came about? According to star Chris Pratt in an interview with Yahoo UK, the park has somehow lost its novelty and "has been around long enough for the attendance to fall off so they decided to come up with a new attraction to bring even more people in. And - you're never going to believe it - but it doesn't go well." As it turned out, a new form of dinosaur was genetically modified using DNA from other species. Eventually, the new dinosaur breed proved much smarter and fiercer than expected. To combat the new threat to the park, the humans must now use their tamed Velociraptors to do the battling for them.
Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow based on a script he co-wrote with Derek Connolly. Aside from Pratt who plays "Owen," an ex-military who works at the theme park doing behavioral research on the raptors, other headliners in the film include Bryce Dallas Howard as "Beth," a corporate scientist for an unknown organization, Irrfan Khan as "Patel," the head of Patel Corporation which is the new owner of the theme park, and Vincent D'Onofrio as "Morton," Patel's CFO. Steven Spielberg's fourth film in the Jurassic Park multimedia franchise based on the Michael Crichton novel will be released in 3D on June 12, 2015, a Friday.
