Hannah Schaefer Reminds Us Who Jesus is with New Song
Singer and songwriter Hannah Schaefer has released her brand new single "My Champion." The song is a powerful reminder of who Jesus is in the midst of our sufferings and pain. "My Champion" is the follow-up single to Schaefer's 2020 self-titled full length album.
Schaefer wrote "My Champion" during the quarantine. She reveals, "I wrote "My Champion" during quarantine. I needed a reminder of just WHO Jesus was and is. Someone fighting for us. With us. In us. Someone we can count on and turn to no matter the circumstance. Someone who loves unconditionally. A heroic friend. A Champion. So excited for you guys to hear this one!"
From winning the Teen Singing Category at the ARTS international talent showcase in Orlando, FL at the age of 15, to her 2020 release of "Who I Am", Hannah's 8 years of music ministry has made her a multi-award winning singer/songwriter. Early in her career, Hannah was selected as one of the 24 Grand Prize recipients in the 2015 international John Lennon Songwriting Contest for her song "All the Way". She then received the Grand Prize for the Gospel Category and moved on in the competition to be titled as one of the 12 Lennon Award winners later that year.
Schaefer has opened for renowned Christian artists such as Matt Maher, Matthew West, Fr. Rob Galea, Mac Powell, Building 429, and more touring internationally and playing over 500 shows across the United States.
