Verizon The Best In Capitalizing On Your Data Plan: Verizon Making Money On Hooking Customers To Their Limited Data Plans
Internet is one of the most used technologies in the world. Therefore, with this information we would conclude that those who make a business in delivering internet connection to customers must make a lot of money since the usage of internet in the world is clearly vast and wide. In the United States there are quite a number of service providers who provide data to their customers to enable them to access internet through their SIM Cards.
A study was recently performed to show which of these giants in the market are the best at monetizing data delivery to their customer and results reveal that Verizon tops the charts. Many might ask how this is the case and here is the answer; the trick lies in ensuring that most customers are tied in the tiered plans rather the unlimited data plans that other service providers have. With these kinds of plans there is a limit to the amount of data a customer uses and therefore, the service provider gets more in return from this kind of plan than the unlimited plans.
This change in data plans from unlimited to limited as customers shift more to data use rather than the conventional texting and calling has also caused a massive increase in the average monthly bills for the customers with more than 51% reporting that they pay more than USD100 per month compared to 42% witnessed in the other service providers. This shows that the general average monthly bill of the customers has risen relative to the increasing success of Verizon in the business of Data delivery.
