Katy Crawford Expresses Her Prayer for "Flourishing"
Worship leader, singer and songwriter Katy Crawford has just released her new single "Flourishing." The song contains one of Crawford's most powerful lyrics: I don't have to wait for the harvest to praise Your name.
Crawford expresses her prayers for the song, "I speak that even now regarding this release: God, I praise You for how you will use this song, whatever that looks like. Whether that means it will be an open door in my music career or for my ministry in farther reaches of this nation and abroad or solely to bless and encourage someone who needs to know Your faithfulness and goodness in the dark seasons of life as well as the bright.
"You are the reason I write, sing, record, and release, God. I praise You for the mighty things You are preparing beneath the surface. May Your goodness be known in every heart who listens."
Crawford is a singer, songwriter, and worship leader both at her church in the United States and in French-speaking countries. She has been writing songs since she was a teen. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, she grew up in church, ministering alongside her family. She strives to bring the songs that the Lord has given her to people around the world.
