Andrea Olson Readies to Release New EP "This Good"
Worship leader and songwriter Andrea Olson will be releasing her new EP This Good this Friday (July 29). Filled with lots of God-encounter moments, the 7-song record will allow us to rest in Jesus. You can pre-order or pre-save the album HERE.
Olson shares, "My album coming out this Friday is all about providing a SELAH, or an opportunity to pause in His presence. I pray that His presence permeates every word of this album and washes over you, reminding you that He IS this good. This album is a call to take time to pause in His presence and dwell on the goodness of our amazing God."
Take a listen to Olson's latest single "I'll Sing" from her new EP below. About the song, Olson writes, "This whole idea of a new song has been stirring in my heart for quite a while. God has brought me through a lot and I have new things to be grateful for. New songs to sing. And after a challenging season, I believe that the Church has a new song to sing as well. We have been given mercies and deliverance in new ways. This song is an anthem of celebration for the church to sing as we come into a fresh season of joy and gratitude."
Olson is a passionate worship leader, songwriter and worship-leading coach based in Minnesota. Andrea has always felt a deep calling to lead others into an encounter with God and deepen their relationship with Him. Through worship experiences, songs, and resources for the Church, she desires to help lead people across the bridge to get from where they are to where they want to be in their walk with the Lord.
In 2014, Andrea began a ministry for worship leaders called Overflow Worship. It all began with a single conference, The Overflow Worship Conference. The plan was to only have one, but it was clear that this was what Andrea was made for. Since that first conference, Andrea has hosted 8 conferences and more than 3,000 worshippers from across the country with one focus: to grow a community of worship leaders who can connect, be in the trenches together and have access to tools that help them thrive in ministry and have longevity in their calling. Along that journey, she has also lead worship and written songs with worship leaders such as Meredith Andrews, Christy Nockels, Paul Baloche, Shane & Shane, Mark Harris, Veritical Worship, David Leonard and more.
Now, Andrea (along with her family) travels the Midwest going into churches leading worship, training teams, and equipping leaders with practical tools to thrive in their ministry. In April of 2021, Andrea Olson followed up her successful single "Monument feat. Meredith Andrews" with more anthems for the church to proclaim, including "God Victorious", "You Already Have" and at Christmas of 2021, "The Proof".
