The band announces, "Abbie joined IAT in 2015, stepping in to replace a former vocalist during our very first year of touring. Abbie dove in wholeheartedly, and in so doing, brought new life and voice to our band. She never once missed a show!
"Abbie is committed and gives every ounce of herself to her craft. She a creative force and a strong, thoughtful leader. She is also an incredibly gifted vocalist and a brilliant songwriter. Simply put, the music of I AM THEY would not be what it is without the talents that Abbie has contributed through the years. We have shared a lot of memories together, been through a lot of hardships together, traveled a lot of places together...and through it all, we have had unbelievable opportunities to see God do some really amazing things together.
"We are deeply thankful for the time that we've shared and the countless memories that we've made with you, Abbie! We also send our love & gratitude to your family, who became like family to us. We are excited to see what the future holds for you! Thank you for your friendship, and for all the traveling years that we've had together!"
I AM THEY has recently released new their new record, Chapel Sessions EP. The official video for "In Jesus Name" (feat. Cheyenne Mitchell), one of the four songs featured on the new EP, can be viewed below.
