Danny Gokey Sings About God's Goodness with New EP
Three-time Grammy Nominated Artist and Dove Award Winner, Danny Gokey has curated 5 of his previously released songs to form his brand new EP entitled Rumors of Goodness. These 5 songs speak of the various aspects of God's goodness. The EP is currently available at all digital platforms.
Gokay announces, "Do you believe that God is good? Like, really, TRULY believe it??? It's more than a rumor. It's a TRUTH that we can build our lives upon!
"Life can throw things at us that make us question God's goodness. It would be easy to let pain and disappointment cause us to walk away from Him, like many of Jesus' disciples did when He talked about eating His flesh and drinking His blood. But just because we don't understand doesn't mean that He isn't good. That's why it's so important that we stay grounded in the TRUTH, and why I put together a playlist with some of my songs to help you remember just how good God is!"
Tracklist:
1. He Believes in You
2. Wanted
3. Stay Strong
4. We All Need Jesus
5. Haven't Seen It Yet
Gokey became a favorite of millions of fans as a Top 3 finalist on Season Eight of American Idol. Following Idol, Gokey released his first album, My Best Days, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. Since that time, Danny has celebrated a series of No. 1 releases including his latest album, Jesus People, along with other No. 1 titles, Haven't Seen It Yet, Rise, Hope In Front of Me, and Award-winning holiday album, Christmas Is Here. Spawning singles like "Hope In Front of Me", "We All Need Jesus," and RIAA Gold Certified singles, "Haven't Seen It Yet" and "Tell Your Heart to Beat Again,"
Gokey has cemented his place on the radio charts with multi-week, multi-chart No. 1 runs in the United States, Canada and now Latin markets with Spanish singles and collaborations. The desire to make a broader impact with his message of hope led to the founding of the nonprofit organization Better Than I Found It. He and his wife Leyiet also launched Livin' la Vida Gokey, a podcast featuring conversations about faith and family. Gokey is a native of Milwaukee and currently lives outside Nashville, TN with Leyicet and their four children.
