Bethel Church's Kris Vallotton Calls Upon Men to Father Our Fatherless Generation
Bethel Church's pastor Kris Vallotton will release his newest book, Uprising: The Epic Battle for the Most Fatherless Generation in History (Chosen Books), on Tuesday, Oct. 25. In the book, Vallotton calls for a restoration of both spiritual and physical fathers in a fatherless generation.
We live in the most fatherless generation in history. Approximately 25 million children in America alone live without their biological father, leading to unspeakable violence, poverty, personal pain and spiritual depravity across the country. After losing his own father at three years old, Vallotton understands the pain and deeply personal longing of these children. He sees how culture attempts to normalize the brokenness and corruption caused by fatherlessness, hoping to relieve the burden and shame of living in sin.
Feeling God's call of the Malachi Mandate (Malachi 4:5-6), Vallotton rallies spiritual men and declares that now is the time to unite in a battle over men's souls. Through his new book, Uprising, Kris inspires an awakening to restore physical and spiritual fatherhood. Together, men of the Church will raise a new generation of mighty men of God to proclaim the Gospel and restore the family in a powerful faith legacy that will ignite revival around the world.
In Uprising, Vallotton will discuss:
- Restoring fatherhood for the most fatherless generation in history
- Becoming a mentor to the next generation of young men
- Leading your family and speaking biblical masculinity over sons
- Fulfilling the Malachi Mandate: an epic battle for the souls of men
"We must build a bridge over the gaping chasm between fathers and their lineage," Vallotton writes. "Otherwise, this relational gorge will insulate the blessing to one generation and undermine the inheritance that God designed to grow and increase from generation to generation."
Uprising (Chosen Books) by Kris Vallotton is available for pre-order here and will be available wherever books are sold beginning Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Vallotton is the Senior Associate Leader of Bethel Church in Redding, California, the co-founder of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) and Moral Revolution.
