Marqus Anthony Teams Up with Read B. Verses for "Trust in You"
Independent Atlanta-based rapper Marqus Anthony teams up with Read B. Verses to release their brand new single "Trust in You." The song has a classic Detroit vibe that Christians of all ages will enjoy. The bouncy, fun and creative I Project beat sets the perfect stage for these two Motor City lyricists to show out as they brag on their Lord. Always put your trust in Jesus, not man!
The duo had this to say, "Too many people these days will put their trust in everything and everyone except God. That's where the "I Can't Trust You" movement comes in because the bible says the hearts of men are wicked and deceitful. We must flee pride and human admiration while we run back to Christ."

Marqus Anthony touched a mic for the first time in 2013 and never felt more alive. Assured of his purpose and calling, the former atheist dropped out of grad school and quit a career as a scientist to pursue music ministry.
Hard work and dedication paid off as his 2016 debut album Walking by My Faith gained over 125k streams. The highly anticipated sequel, Walking by My Faith: Thru the Storm - EP, dropped June 2018, passing 175k streams.
He also teamed up with Miraql3 creating CHH duo Da Church, dropping their album We Are Da Church, Vol. 1 in Dec 2018 which has over 145k streams.
Marqus has shared the stage with artists such as Derek Minor, nobigdyl., Canon, Steven Malcolm, Aaron Cole, Da' T.R.U.T.H. and more. He has performed at SXSW as well as Bobby Jones Presents. Anthony has also been featured on Rapzilla, Trackstarz, and more.
