Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Vs Amazon Kindle Fire: Comparison Of Specs And Features To Determine Which Is The Best Between The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 And The Amazon Kindle Fire
Samsung Galaxy tab 3 and Amazon's Kindle Fire HDX are currently one of the most sort out tablets in the market at the moment. Now, this does not come as a surprise since we have seen just how good Samsung has been doing with their gadgets and also Amazon. However, as much as these two companies have their tablets being bought in large quantities in the market, which of the two is better in terms of specs, features, performance and design? Well let's find out.
When it comes to the screens and display the size says a lot and in this case Samsung's Galaxy 3 takes the cup home with its large screen that is an 8 inch screen while the Amazon has a 7 inch screen. On the other hand the Amazon does offer better resolution in which it has 1920 by 1200 pixels while Samsung Galaxy tab 3 has 1280 by 800 pixels at 189 pixels per inch. It should be noted also that there are is a 7 inch version of the galaxy tab and also a 10 inch one. As for the Amazon Fire HDX there is an 8.9 inch screen available so if you want a larger version of the two designs or just a smaller one you have choices to choose from which is a good thing.
When it comes to performance the Amazon Fire HDX wins in this round with its Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core 2.2GHz chip while Samsung galaxy tab bags a 1.5GHz core chip. The Galaxy tab nevertheless does out shine the Amazon Fire HDX when it comes to applications. The Galaxy Tab uses Google Play to get apps while the Fire HDX cannot access the Google Play app hence using the Amazon App Store. This has few apps unlike Google Play and Google Play apps are updated way faster than those on Amazon App Store.
When it comes to storage Samsung Galaxy out shines Amazon Fire HDX as it is larger with a microSD slot which misses in the Kindle. However, without the external storage the Kindle Fire takes this win as it comes with 16, 32 or 64GB internal storage depending on what you want. The Galaxy on the other hand comes with 16GB of storage plus the microSD card hence offering more storage in total.
With all that said I would say that the Samsung Galaxy Tab bags the trophy in being the best as clearly it has more to offer than the Amazon Kindle Fire. Now, am not saying that the Kindle is bad, just that Samsung galaxy 3 out shines it in more aspects. It still is a good device and one that is doing well in the market. At the end of the day it is you who will decide on which of the two you will take home.
