Jordan St. Cyr Receives His First Juno Award Nomination
Singer and songwriter Jordan St. Cyr is excited to announce that he has been nominated for a Juno Award. Recognized for his debut self-titled album in the Contemporary Christian/ Gospel Album of the Year category, this is St. Cyr's first Juno nomination.
"I am thrilled to be a part of the Juno nominee class of 2023," St. Cyr exclaims. "Growing up in Canada, the Junos represented a sense of pride and belonging, and I'm grateful to continue this trend along with my fellow nominees for Christian/Gospel Album of the Year."
The Juno Awards honor all genres of Canada's top musicians, singers, songwriters, and producers. The 52nd Annual event will be announced live on March 13 at Rogers Place Arena in Alberta, Canada.
The nomination comes on the heels of St. Cyr sweeping the 2022 GMA Canada Covenant Awards when he won the most out of any other nominees. Held last November, St. Cyr won an astounding six awards during the 42nd annual event, including Artist of the Year as well as Album and Male Vocalist of the Year.
He also won best Pop Song ("Fires"), Live Music Artist, and AC Artist of the Year. Additionally, St. Cyr will be releasing new music this spring, along with joining Colton Dixon's Build A Boat Tour kicking off in March. Be sure to visit his tour page for the latest tour dates.
