FAITHFUL's New Single "A Place For You" is led by Sarah Macintosh, Savannah Locke, and Jess Ray
FAITHFUL releases their second single, "A Place For You." Carrying their upcoming project's mission of bringing the Psalms to life - specifically Psalms of action - they take inspiration from Psalm 68:4-8 as an invitation to those feeling broken, weary, and afraid to come to God. "A Place For You" is a mellow folk track led by Sarah Macintosh, Savannah Locke, and Jess Ray, who gently communicate the heart of the Father where an abundance of love and safety exists.
Coming to life in the winter of 2019, a group of well-known and respected authors, artists, and songwriters gathered as a community to write and share songs. Their work came to be known as FAITHFUL: songs and stories of God's kindness to women throughout history and here with us today.
"FAITHFUL: Go and Speak," the debut album released in 2021 featured Amy Grant, Ellie Holcomb, Ann Voskamp, Sarah Macintosh, Sandra McCracken, Ginny Owens, Leslie Jordan, Christy Nockels, Rachael Lampa, Kelly Minter, Savannah Locke, Sarah Kroger, Christa Wells, Tamar Chipp, Jess Ray, Janice Gaines, Trilla Newbell, and Taylor Leonhardt. In addition, the collective released a book boasting an eclectic collection of written stories, lyrics, photos, and art as well as the FAITHFUL podcast which launched on all platforms. FAITHFUL is an inspiration to women, showing them that they have permission to create, live, and think creatively for themselves.
