Don't Miss Acapella Group Kings Return's "We Four Kings"
GRAMMY-nominated acapella group Kings Return has unveiled their first full-length holiday album entitled We Four Kings today. The Dallas-based quartet effortlessly blurs genre lines with their unique fusion of gospel, jazz, R&B and classical music and one-of-a-kind arrangements of holiday favorites including "I'll Be Home For Christmas," "Jingle Bell Rock," "Mary, Did You Know" and more. Each self-produced tune is laced with expansive harmonies that flex their mesmerizing vocal chemistry and range.

Kings Return --- composed of Vaughn Faison (tenor 1), J.E. McKissic (tenor 2), Jamall Williams (baritone), and Gabe Kunda (bass) --- was unintentionally formed for a college recital at Dallas Baptist University. While they've earned comparisons to iconic acts like Take 6 and Boyz II Men, the four-piece vocal group's seamless integration of a wide range of genres, decades and styles is what sets them apart. Their name, "Kings Return," reflects their commitment not only to conquering the musical landscape but also to giving back to their community.
Kings Return's social media following skyrocketed to over 10 million views when they began posting captivating performances from the stairwell where they rehearsed, leading to praise from NPR All Things Considered, Emily King, Anita Baker, Cynthia Erivo, Joyce Didonato and more. They released their jazz-infused debut EP 'A Merry Little Christmas' in 2021, followed by their first full-length album ROVE in 2022, which featured a stunning rendition of Bee Gees' "How Deep Is Your Love" that earned a GRAMMY nod for "Best Arrangement."
"We don't use any instruments, and it can feel very vulnerable to perform on stage alone, especially as Black men - with all the stigma that entails," says Gabe Kunda. "When we come together to do this vulnerable thing called a cappella, it strengthens our bonds. It makes us tighter as a unit and as human beings. We want to be examples for other men like us."
Throughout November and December, Kings Return will charm audiences across the country with a string of US tour dates, including stops in Chicago, DC, NYC, and more, plus an anticipated hometown show in Dallas the week of Christmas.
