New Documentary "Multiplied" Explores the Question: Is Worldwide Evangelism Dead?
4 The One Studio and Every Nation Will Bow studio are proud to present a groundbreaking new film, "Multiplied." The film follows breakout 24-year-old filmmaker Chris Worthington as he documents what the future of evangelism looks like.
In this fast-paced, comedic and eye-opening travel documentary, Worthington invites the audience to join him as he follows Daniel Kolenda, an American evangelist, as they attend a three-stadium Christian gathering in Brazil, get stranded in a West African dust storm, get shot at on the way to a 400,000-person Gospel campaign in Warri, Nigeria, and ultimately discover that Christianity is no longer about a select few famous evangelists, but about an entire generation of people seeking the truth of the Gospel.
"Multiplied" will be in theaters through Fathom Events May 20 - 21, 2024. Tickets go on sale February 2, 2024.
"We have been fed this lie that Christianity is dying when the reality is that Christianity is dramatically growing all around the world," said Worthington. "The Lord is at work all around the world, and it is my passion to bring that truth to viewers to inspire and encourage them to stand strong in their faith."
Worthington and his team made "Multiplied," in order to send a strong message to Hollywood that positive films don't profane God's name, don't mock people of faith, and where Christian views and interests are presented in a positive light. They made the kind of faith film that audiences want to see. These filmmakers are asking moviegoers to pledge the number of tickets they plan on buying in advance.
"We know that there is an audience that wants uplifting, encouraging film," said Worthington. "We are more than ready to fulfill that need and reveal what God has been doing around the world."
Chris Worthington is a Christian film director and the founder of Christian film production company Every Nation Will Bow. Best known for This is Living (2018), Worthington had no desire to live for Christ until he radically met Jesus in 2013 at a worship concert in Tampa, Florida. Worthington has been on a mission ever since to document what he experienced that night - Jesus Christ Himself. Worthington self-funded his first project, This is Living, which he directed, wrote and edited. The film premiered on Prime Video, Vimeo and DVD in 2018 and grossed five times its budget and was nominated at ICFF for "Most Inspirational Film."
Daniel Kolenda is a missionary evangelist, pastor, author, and teacher who has led tens of millions of people to Christ through massive open-air evangelistic campaigns in some of the most dangerous, difficult, and remote locations on earth. As the successor to world-renowned Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, Kolenda is the president and CEO of Christ for All Nations, a ministry which has conducted some of the largest evangelistic events in history, published over 190 million books in 104 languages, and has 14 offices in 12 countries on six continents.
He has hosted two internationally syndicated television programs (one daily and one weekly) and has authored 8 books including the bestsellers, "LIVE Before You Die" and "Slaying Dragons." In addition to the international work, Kolenda is also the Lead Pastor of a thriving local congregation in Orlando, Florida, called Nations Church.
