Jerry Savelle Ministries International announced on Facebook and identifiied Savelle as "a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, pastor, mentor, and resolute friend."
JSMI went on to ask supporters to pray for "Mrs. Savelle, Jerriann, Terri, and the entire family" and to "celebrate his life, remembering and honoring the legacy of character, faith, and integrity that Dr. Jerry Savelle so gracefully built."

He was the author of more than seventy books, including his bestsellers --- "If Satan Can't Steal Your Joy, He Can't Keep Your Goods" and "Called to Battle, Destined to Win."
