Jodie Berndt’s "Praying the Scriptures" Series Hits Major Milestone with More Than 500,000 Copies Sold

Zondervan Books proudly announces Jodie Berndt's Praying the Scriptures series has surpassed half a million books sold.

Originally published by Zondervan in 2001, Praying the Scriptures for Your Children: Discover How to Pray God's Purpose for Their Lives has now sold more than 270,000 copies, including a special 20th anniversary edition. Praying the Scriptures for Your Adult Children: Trusting God with the Ones You Love, released in 2017, has also exceeded 100,000 books sold.

Notable Christian leaders such as Anne Voskamp, Jim Daly, Mark Batterson, and Rebekah Lyons praise Berndt and the Praying the Scriptures series, which includes four trade books, a 31-day devotional, and an interactive journal. Berndt guides readers through using the Bible as a book of effective prayers, powerfully influencing children's and married couples' faith, character, safety, and future.
