David & Nicole Binion Unveil their Cinematic Full-Length Album "The Revelation of Jesus"
David & Nicole Binion release their awaited album, "The Revelation of Jesus," tomorrow, August 16. This project creatively tells the compelling story of the Book of Revelation and the full-length release was preceded by a trilogy of EPs - "Revelation," "Tribulation," and "Jubilation" - which together bring the biblical book to life, illuminating its glory, mystery, and encounters between God and humanity. Additionally, TBN airs the whole taping tonight, August 15, at 8pm and 11pm ET. Visit TBN.org for more information.
This album was birthed in May 2020 during the throes of the global pandemic when
David Binion was woken up by God's voice as he explained: "It was an audible voice that woke me out of my sleep. I was stunned and a little reluctant to dive into this scary book of the Bible. But my eyes were opened to the beauty of the Resurrected Jesus and his victory throughout the book."
Not long after, the Binions penned 18 songs with songwriters and artists including Mitch Wong, Krissy Nordoff, Dwan Hill, Steffany Gretzinger, and Gracie Binion. The songs were recorded live at the Huckabee Theater in Hendersonville, TN, and artists including Danny Gokey, Rita Springer, DOE, and Mitch Wong joined the Binions on the recordings. The whole project was produced by David Binion and Daniel Lopez.
"The Revelation of Jesus" is a cinematic and transcendent album that carries the
Binions' desire to inspire a new generation of worshipers with this beautiful, poetic book of the Bible. "John shows us the kind of encounters that are possible with God and humanity," they said.
Concluding, they shared the heart behind this special project: "We hope that these songs will help erase the fear that has held people back from pursuing the study of this great and final book of the Bible."
