Vince Gill & Amy Grant welcome the birth of their grandchild. Jenny Gill Van Valkenburg,Vince's daughter, and Josh Van Valkenburg greeted the arrival of their first child together. Wyatt Gill Van Valkenburg was born Monday, Aug. 4 at 7:26 p.m. in a Nashville hospital. The baby weighs 8 pounds 6 ounces.
Jenny is a singer/songwriter who has previously perfomed with her dad before. In fact, Vince even wrote a song for his daughter years ago entitled "Jenny Dreamed of Trains." Jenny's husband is director of Creative for Sony/ATV. She is the daughter of Gill, who is married to Amy Grant, and Janis Gill of Sweethearts of the Rodeo fame. .
