"We are grateful for what God is doing," says DiChiara. "We're excited to have back-to-back Christian music festival dates on September 28th at the iconic Ichthus Music Festival in Wilmore, Kentucky, and the Bittersweet Fall Festival on October 5th in Mount Vernon, Kentucky. We're so blessed to be able to open for JJ Weeks, Unspoken, We Are Vessel, and 7eventh Time Down. Great bands for the Kingdom!"
In addition to performing at the festivals, DiChiara, Empowered's lead singer and songwriter, will share his powerful testimony of surviving a traumatic brain injury that nearly took his life and his capacity to create music. Instead, he astonished doctors with a rapid and nearly full recovery, and the man who was once at the edge of life is now full of purpose and divine presence.
"Benny has overcome incredible odds after his traumatic brain injury, but I honestly think it increased his creative genius. His music is better than ever!" says Laura Harris Smith, best-selling author and speaker, and host of the Total Living Network's and the Christian Television Network's popular talk show, theTHREE.
