Brian Doerksen Focuses On Enduring Love with New Single "This Is Our Love"

Brian Doerksen's latest single, "This Is Our Love," released on April 11, 2025, serves as the lead track from his forthcoming album Love For A Lifetime. This collection focuses on enduring, faithful love, a theme that resonates throughout the single.
The song has been well-received for its gentle, romantic ambiance. A review from Never for Nothing highlights its laid-back feel, complemented by guitars, light percussion, and a mid-song saxophone solo that enhances its warmth. The reviewer was particularly moved by the opening lyrics: When my day feels like night; And I'm losing the light; You stay by my side; When I'm not feeling strong, you awaken the song; Waiting in my heart.
Love For A Lifetime, is a heartfelt collection of songs celebrating enduring, faithful love. The project was inspired by Doerksen's 40-year relationship with his wife, Joyce, and aims to fill the gap in music that focuses on long-term love rather than the initial stages of romance. The album will feature 12 tracks, each sponsored by couples who have experienced lasting love, with the goal of inspiring others to embrace lifelong commitment .
The first single from the album, "We're Not Alone," was released in March 2025. This song reflects the assurance of having a supportive partner through life's challenges, with a musical arrangement that includes a saxophone to convey enduring romantic love .
The album is currently available for pre-order, and fans can expect the full release in early to mid-2025. An album release concert is scheduled for May in Fort Langley, British Columbia, where attendees can celebrate the new music and hear the songs performed live .
