Performer, vocalist, and songwriter Franni Cash releases her next single, "Church Clothes" which is her first new music since her debut EP, Wild Child was released earlier this year. "Church Clothes" is the latest progression of Franni's creative journey as a solo artist and sees her settling into a sound that blends old-school pop and rock with a modern-day twist. In the song, Franni challenges the idea that one must look and act a certain way to be worthy or loved. "Church Clothes" is available HERE.
As Franni tells it, "At its heart "Church Clothes" is about the freedom of knowing we don't have to put on a facade to come into God's presence or to be loved by Him. He doesn't care how polished or put-together we appear-He loves us right where we are. I hope and pray that when people hear "Church Clothes," they feel the same freedom and joy I've experienced by laying down my efforts to impress God or people and allowing myself to be fully loved by Him. It's liberating, and I can't wait for you to hear it."
Yesterday saw Franni's first solo performance as the opening act for Brandon Lake's "King Of Hearts" tour. She'll debut new music, including "Misfit," "Wildfowers", and "Church Clothes" as well as tipping the hat to her former band, We The Kingdom, and revealing a previously unreleased song that the audience will be the first to hear. Franni will be on the road with Lake for the entire '25 leg of this tour, which concludes in Spokane, Washington on November 23rd. Tickets are available HERE.
