Actress Melissa Joan Hart is celebrating a powerful and deeply personal moment for her family: the baptism of her 16-year-old son Brady, a decision she says came straight from his own growing walk with God.
"Our Brady made a beautiful choice today to dedicate his life to Christ!" Hart shared joyfully, explaining that after a difficult year marked by loss and personal challenges, something began to shift in her son's heart. "It started to really resonate with him," she said, noting that his desire to publicly commit his life to Jesus emerged naturally and sincerely.
Faith has long played an important role in the Hart household. The actress noted that her sons regularly watch their dad read the Bible each morning at 5:30, and the family prays together often. "Today he made the decision to follow Christ... and be a shining light for the Glory of God!" Hart wrote.
Brady's love for Scripture has continued to grow thanks to the influence of his school community, close friends, and his youth pastor, Keiron Miles, whom Hart thanked for "walking him thru this special time." When the moment finally came for Brady to be baptized, Hart said she and her husband were overwhelmed with emotion. "We were just bawling," she admitted.
The celebration marks a meaningful milestone for the Hart family - and a testimony to a young man choosing to follow Christ wholeheartedly, even amid a challenging season.
