Jevon Dewand Turns Survival Into Soundtrack of Faith With “10X My Blessings”

Atlanta-based Gospel and Urban Inspirational force Jevon Dewand is stepping boldly into his next chapter of purpose with the announcement of his forthcoming single, "10X My Blessings," arriving February 27, 2026. Known for transforming lived trauma into unfiltered testimony, Dewand continues his momentum following the #1 Billboard Gospel Airplay hit "Without You" and its companion anthem "It's Not Over," offering a faith-fueled declaration that God's abundance is not confined to genre, circumstance, or limitation. Anchored in gratitude, multiplication, and relentless hope, "10X My Blessings" unites Gospel, hip-hop, and country energy through a powerhouse collaboration featuring Jazze Pha, Isaac Carree, Blanco Brown, and Gaz Money, positioning Dewand's music once again as a soundtrack not just for survival-but for purpose-filled living.

Q: For listeners who may be discovering you for the first time, how would you describe who you are as an artist-and how your faith shapes everything you create?

I am an artist who is all about energy. I am your energy. I am your reminder to know that God hasn't forgot about and it's the same for me. No matter what I've been through -  I've been homeless, I've been shot and almost died from blood clots, and all the things that I've made it through, my faith shaped me to become the energy that people need.  Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to start and to finish and you need that accountability partner to remind you that you're worthy of everything that you start to finish to get to your goals. So also think of me as your accountability coach, I am your friend, I'm your family in this growing circle of energy.  That's where faith is. It's my fuel to my energy. My reality is the knowing of God who gives me my energy every day and to give to you my overflow. I also like to say  "if serving is beneath you, leadership is beyond you."  I am here to serve and remind you not to think that anything and everything is not possible - because it is! And my music is your soundtrack of energy and possibility for your life.

Q: "It's Not Over" is deeply personal and rooted in survival. How did walking through life-threatening moments change the way you see God's hand on your life and your mission?

There are so many things in the world that can distract us from God.
We sometimes forget God until there is calamity in our life like the death of a loved one or we're about to lose our life, and someone is in that hospital, or there is some type of tragedy. I wanted to make sure now that when I say "It's not over", that means every day I wake up and open my eyes, that I know that God gave me another chance. I don't want God to have to take me through tremulous situations for me to give Him glory. No, I want to give Him glory to the story today!
It's not over is the theme song to my everyday life.

Q: You've called "It's Not Over" the soundtrack of survival. What inner battles did you have to win before you could release this song with honesty and strength?

COURAGE Period. The courage of looking in the mirror and loving that person in the mirror.
Not the person that's dressed up, with the nice haircut, with the perfectly trimmed beard, but the person who is really transparent and loving who they really are.
It's very hard to do because I've been through a lot like mental abuse, experiences in childhood and the burning of traditions and conditions that has condemned me not to know and believe who I really am in strength.
So I keep doing mirror work every day and I, like you, am that person who has been through the trenches with real tears and real pain. But out of tears and pain, comes courage, and out of courage comes bravery.   Now that I'm walking in purpose, it don't matter what somebody says to me on social media or whatever the case may be, because now God has put a shield around me that is a glowing forcefield - His light is inside me and I'm not dimming it.

Q: "Without You" reached #1 on Billboard Gospel Airplay and brought major Stellar Award recognition. How did that moment affirm your calling within Gospel and Urban Inspirational music?

It didn't affirm it, but rather gave me another extension of how other people looked at me inside of my calling and said, "I respect that about you and for this I want to give you an award."
I am very thankful and grateful to experience these honors but I don't see it as affirming that I'm doing the right thing with my music and ministry. What affirms me to know that I'm doing the right thing is when people walk up to me and say that I've changed their life or my songs saved their life or gave them the courage and ability to keep going.  Trophies will get dusty and just sit on shelves and in cases so people can gloat when you walk in the house. But the real trophies are the people and the moving of their hearts and spirit.

I call HOPE - Help One Person Everyday, and it's so beautiful the times that I get stopped and people recognize me for my gift, not my talent. My talent is for me, my gift is for other people to unwrap HOPE.  That's were my affirmation comes and that I am to keep walking on a one way street to glory, grace and excellence.

Q: Your upcoming single "10X My Blessings" features collaborators across gospel, hip-hop, and country. What statement are you making with this record, and what can listeners expect sonically and spiritually?

My statement is to Stop Putting God In A Box!  He is oxygen - He is everywhere. God is in country music, in blues, in pop, in top 40, in African music, and He is in Latin music.

You will get fun, positivity, inspiration, and energy in this record.  When you hear "10X My Blessings," it's all energy and a reminder to stop asking God for something new. Let Him multiply what He already gave you so you can walk in gratitude.  What you don't manage and whatever you mismanage is what you may lose.  How do you currently tend to your blessings? Blessings like your health, your money, your mind, and the things you already have.  I challenge you to stand still right now, today, and we're gonna multiply what we are by thinking and believing for bigger. That's why it's called 10X My Blessings.

I collaborated with other artist friends with that same energy.  Blanco Brown, Gaz Money, Jazze Pha, and Isaac Carree are all men of purpose who also have testimonies of real trials and triumphs.

Q: As you look toward the future, how do you hope your music continues to move people-from simply surviving to walking confidently in purpose and faith?

It's not a hope but a KNOWING with the glory of God and in talking to Him, He already has told me what's about to happen.  As I glorify Him, He amplifies us. I'm just a man on the mic who knows there will be so many people walking with me.
I've seen it already. There will be so many people that this music and movement is going to transform In Jesus' Name. That's the word I want to use - transform - people on another level in Christ.
What I want to do and what's going to happen in this life is that we're going to build a new, growing circle of community, and this circle is a never ending chain. Every time someone comes in, we open our arms and heart to add new people to this circle, and we're gonna keep growing it and activate the favor God has for us, and until love beats hate.
