Contemporary Christian artist Tim Timmons has released a new song, "Wake Me Up Again," encouraging listeners to live each day with intentional faith, inspired by his personal journey and the message connected to the film I Can Only Imagine 2, which is now showing.
The new anthem emerged while Timmons was preparing his forthcoming book "Waking Up Again" and reflecting on the themes surrounding I Can Only Imagine 2. The song is rooted in a personal symbol Timmons often writes on his wrist-an "X"-representing the daily decision to wake up intentionally and surrender each day to God.
"While preparing for our new book Waking Up Again and the movie I Can Only Imagine 2, I decided to write an anthem inviting all of us to wake up intentionally each day," Timmons shared with fans. "I hope this song serves you well."
Timmons also collaborated with Dustin Lolli of Sanctus Real on the song.
"Thank you Dustin Lolli from Sanctus Real for helping me write this song/prayer," Timmons added.
The release comes as Timmons continues to inspire listeners with his testimony of faith while living with terminal cancer, sharing a message of hope, perseverance, and trust in God through both his music and public story.
