'Orange is the New Black' Cast Star Taylor Schilling New Movie 'Stay' with Aidan Quinn Releases September 2014, Watch Trailer Here (VIDEO)
Taylor Schilling, who is best known as Piper Chapman on Netflix's hit show, "Orange Is The New Black" is starring in a new film that titled Stay that releases on September 1st to iTunes. You can watch the official trailer for the movie above.
Stay, an Irish and Canadian drama about a young woman, Abbey (Schilling), whose happy existence with her boyfriend Dermot (twice Emmy-nominated actor Aidan Quinn) is upended when she gets pregnant and he is too immature to consider the idea of fatherhood. She returns home to live with her father in a state of unknown as to what she will do with her life and if she will even keep the baby. The film focuses on subtle character development, exploring human interactions and relationships.
Schilling's work with the Netflix popular original series "Orange is the New Black" released their second season in June and are currently filming Season 3, set for release in June 2015.
Cast star Taylor Schilling, who plays Piper Chapman received the exciting news that she was nominated for 'Outstanding Actress in a Comedy' for the 2014 Emmy Awards.
Schilling shared with People how the cast and crew reacted to her nomination. "It was insanity. Everybody came to set. The entire cast came." She added, "There were lots of bowls of oranges. People were putting them down their shirts. I put them down my shirt. They were throwing them, we were bouncing them off walls. It was bonkers."
"Orange is the New Black" received four Emmy Award nominations total for 2014. Along with Schilling, they included 'Outstanding Comedy', 'Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy' (Kate Mulgrew) and 'Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy' (Natasha Lyonne, Uzo Aduba, Laverne Cox).
Netflix experimented this format of releasing full seasons at once and it has been very successful for them. Netflix other hit series "House of Cards" released this same way as well with Season 1 and Season 2 and was very successful.
