Worship leader Chris Tomlin marked a major milestone yesterday as he led the 10th annual Good Friday Nashville, a worship gathering centered on the message of the cross and the heart of the gospel.
Held in Nashville and broadcast to a nationwide audience via K-LOVE and Air1, the event brought together thousands both in person and online for a night of reflection, Scripture, and worship in anticipation of Easter Sunday.
Following the gathering, Tomlin shared a heartfelt message reflecting on the significance of Good Friday and the enduring power of Christ's sacrifice.
"There's something about Good Friday... remembering the cross, the incredible love, mercy, grace and forgiveness of Jesus," he wrote. "When we come together to remember... how could we not worship?"
Now in its 10th year, Good Friday Nashville has become a defining annual moment in contemporary Christian worship, intentionally focused on the cross as the center of faith and devotion. Tomlin emphasized that every aspect of the event is designed to point back to that message.
"Every year, every detail, every moment, pointing back to the cross," he shared, underscoring the gathering's singular purpose.
He also expressed gratitude to those who have supported and participated in the event over the past decade, including listeners who tuned in through radio and those who attended in person.
