Christian leaders, ministry figures, broadcasters, and members of the faith community gathered Monday, May 18, at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, to celebrate the life and legacy of Daystar Television Network co-founder Joni Lamb.
The memorial service honored Lamb's decades-long commitment to Christian broadcasting, ministry, and evangelism, as family, friends, and colleagues reflected on her influence in global Christian media and her passion for pointing people to Jesus Christ.
Among those paying tribute to Lamb were President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Pastor Jentezen Franklin, Joel Osteen, Paula White-Cain, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., many of whom shared recorded messages honoring her faith, leadership, and impact on Christian television.
Joni Lamb, who co-founded Daystar alongside her late husband Marcus Lamb, was remembered throughout the service as a devoted mother, ministry leader, and voice of encouragement to millions of viewers around the world. Speakers repeatedly emphasized her unwavering faith and lifelong mission to share the Gospel through television and media outreach.
Members of the Lamb family, including Rachel Lamb Brown and Rebecca Lamb Weiss, also shared personal reflections during the emotional celebration of life service. Jonathan Lamb and his wife Suzy were present at the memorial as well.
President Trump, in a recorded tribute played during the service, honored Lamb as "strong and courageous" and praised her bold commitment to faith and truth.
The celebration drew tributes from across the Christian world, with many describing Lamb as a fearless broadcaster who helped shape Christian television for decades through Daystar Television Network.
"Joni faithfully spent her life giving glory to Jesus Christ and pointing souls to Him," one tribute shared during the service. "Now she has received her eternal reward."
