Country star Jelly Roll is adding another surprising skill to his growing résumé - standup comedy.

The "Need a Favor" hitmaker recently took the stage at Netflix Is a Joke Fest in Los Angeles, where he hosted an evening of comedy at the iconic Greek Theatre and even performed his own standup set.

The singer documented the experience in a YouTube vlog, capturing behind-the-scenes moments with comedians and performers before stepping in front of the crowd himself.

Jelly Roll's comedy set touched on several personal topics fans know him for - including his music career, time spent in prison and dramatic weight-loss transformation.

"I have lost quite a bit of weight," he joked during the set. "I was always fat, but when I was born, it wasn't a delivery, it was a DiGiorno's."

He also poked fun at his friendship and touring connection with Post Malone, telling the crowd, "I figured if Post Malone could try country music, I could try comedy."

The performance marks another unexpected move for Jelly Roll, who has expanded far beyond music in recent years. In addition to his chart-topping country success, he has become a recurring presence in WWE programming and was featured in the Netflix series WWE: Unreal.

He has also stepped into acting, appearing in Tulsa King and Fire Country, while voicing the character Griff in the animated sports comedy GOAT.

Jelly Roll continues to be open about his health journey as well. During the comedy festival, he participated alongside comedian Bert Kreischer in the Two Bears 5K event - his second consecutive year taking part.

Fans can watch highlights of Jelly Roll's comedy debut in his latest vlog and see yet another side of one of country music's most unpredictable stars.
