Emerging Christian Hip Hop artist goodwill. is quickly becoming one of the most promising new voices among faith-driven young musicians. Hailing from Union, Kentucky, the Cincinnati-area artist blends Hip Hop with influences from Pop, R&B, and Indie Pop, creating music centered on hope, purpose, and the message of Jesus. After writing his first song in sixth grade, goodwill. discovered a passion not only for music, but for reaching hurting people through honest storytelling and faith-filled lyrics.

Now, alongside fellow artist Griffin McCoy, goodwill. is stepping into a new season with "START WITH US," a bold anthem calling young believers to embrace revival, courage, and their God-given purpose. Released through Rapzilla.com, the track captures the spiritual hunger and struggles facing this generation while pointing listeners toward hope in Christ.

In this interview, goodwill. opens up about the inspiration behind the song, spiritual warfare, his evolving artistic vision, and why he believes revival among young people may be closer than many realize.

Q: For readers discovering goodwill. for the first time, who are you as an artist, and what message or mission drives your music?

I'm a Christian musician who dabbles with multiple different genres. I mostly make Hip Hop, which is where my roots in music originated, but I'm beginning to branch out into the other styles that I enjoy such as Pop, RnB, and Indie Pop.

My mission is to make Jesus famous. I want to plant seeds and point others to the hope and salvation that is found only in the Lord. God has changed my life in huge ways, and I want to glorify Him with my music while bringing others to His life change and glory in the process.

Q: "START WITH US" carries a strong sense of urgency and purpose. What inspired the song, and why was this the right message to release in this season?

The entire song lets the listener hear the desires that reside in the hearts of Griffin and me. We know the Lord wants to work and change lives, and we also know that people play a significant role in His ministry.

This song is a cry to the Lord to start revival and a movement of salvation across the globe through us and our lives.

Me and Griffin are at this point in our lives where we've seen people - especially people our age - struggle and hunger for hope. We felt this song was the perfect opportunity to express our desire to be used to reach the lost. We also wanted to inspire others to push the Gospel further as we get closer to the return of Jesus.

Q: The track talks about wanting to be part of something bigger and making a meaningful impact. How do your own personal struggles and experiences shape the honesty behind the lyrics?

I know what it feels like to struggle. I know what it's like when you feel as if there's no hope. We all do. I know how these lost people feel, and it burdens me. It breaks my heart.

So I want to go all in with boldness and eagerness to give people the hope and joy that we have in Christ. Through that desire, I wrote about my longing to be used.

On top of that, I've encountered battles with demonic forces. When hell sees God's hand on anyone, it'll do whatever it can to get them off track. I've seen it firsthand.

My verse talks about keeping my eyes on Jesus and how He's adopted me into sonship even in the middle of spiritual warfare. I love using music to remind myself - and the forces of hell - that Jesus has already won, and that darkness has no power over those whom the Lord has brought home.

Q: You began writing songs in sixth grade with the goal of reaching the lost and planting seeds of hope. Looking back, how has that vision evolved as you've grown both personally and musically?

It's actually so cool to see the growth I've had when I look back at where I was in my walk with the Lord and in my journey with music.

My vision has gotten bigger and deeper. It was much simpler when I was younger. Now I still want the exact same thing, but with greater intentionality.

I hope relationships are restored, people are healed, people get saved, and that listeners find hope through my music. My intentionality and drive have definitely grown since I first started making music in sixth grade.

Q: The song speaks directly to young adults wrestling with fear, pressure, and purpose. What encouragement do you hope listeners take away after hearing "START WITH US"?

I hope young adults walk away from this song encouraged by the truth that they can be used to do big things for the Kingdom.

Our generation has become one of the most spiritually hungry generations in America, and I want listeners to feel inspired to go be a light to those searching for hope.

There are probably plenty of people out there who think they can't make a difference where they're at. That's a lie from hell. The Lord can do bigger things through us than we could ever imagine.

When young people are on fire for Jesus, revival is not far behind. That's something my dad and many of my mentors have emphasized throughout the past few years of my life.

Q: Looking ahead, what future music, collaborations, or creative goals can fans expect next from goodwill.?

I'm starting to get into more of this Surfaces-type summer Indie Pop sound. I listen to Surfaces a lot, and their music inspires me creatively.

I'm also exploring all sorts of different genres, and it's been so much fun experimenting.

I would love to collaborate with Hulvey or Forrest Frank someday. Both have been huge inspirations not only musically, but spiritually as well. Their music has impacted my walk with Jesus in a big way.

I'm super excited for the future. I can't wait to see what the Lord does with it and where He takes me.
